Knilling Si-Hon style VIOLA performance mute. It moves easily into a muting position onto the bridge or slides back toward the tailpiece and out of the way while not in use. It stays on the strings all the time so that it never gets misplaced. It does a good job muting evenly on all registers and helps dampen wolf tones.
