Here it is!!  The GelRest is a revolutionary concept which uses the remarkable form-fitting properties of gel to finally make your violin or viola chinrest a comfortable place to "rest." Gel gently molds to your chin and is non absorbent, so sweat and dirt are easily removed. The GelRest is extremely durable and its contoured, non-slip surface makes holding your instrument comfortable and effortless under all playing conditions. Installation onto your chinrest is very easy via the peel-and-stick adhesive. The gel material used for the GelRest contains no silicone, and is even approved by the FDA. It can be easily cut to fit 1/4 to 4/4 size violin or viola.

To Clean: Gel is easy to clean, and, unlike other cushioning materials, will not absorb odors or trap bacteria. We recommend cleaning in place and wiping as needed with soap and water, or alcohol. The pad can also be polished with instrument polish or ArmorAll.

Durability: The GelRest indeed is very comfortable, but also virtually indestructible. The gel does not compress or flatten over time. The gel is a solid material and cannot leak. Still, keep sharp objects away and a GelRest will last indefinitely.
