SUPERB rosewd heart fan vn pegs

After searching 3 years for good quality pegs that had some design zip to them, I found them HERE.
Understand, I am the pickiest of picky. I emailed Janet probably for 2 weeks daily with questions. Then I ordered about 10 sets of pegs to peruse. I took them to my luthier to inspect.
Then I took the leap and settled on these, the rosewood fan style. I wanted the durability of ebony, but my luthier said that even though rosewood tends to be softer, they would outlast me.
So far, so good. They were installed in 2006. They still turn like butter, and I''m able to tune precisely with the peg, only using fine tuners occasionally.
Besides that, they are beautiful. Every time I play, I thinkWOW...that''s my violin!
